Executive Pastor - Elder, Kim Hargwood
Born and raised in Tuscaloosa, Alabama; Elder Kim confessed Christ at an early age. She attended New Home Baptist Church under the leadership of James E Long until graduating from Central High School. In 1984 she journeyed to New york, where she met and married the love of her life, Deacon James Hargwood (they are blessed with six wonderful children and one grandson).
She continued her studies at Weymouth College and New Life School of Theology. Elder Kim joined the Faith Baptist Church in Hempstead, NY under the leadership of the late Pastor JJ Howell Sr. where she sang with the JJ Howell Ensemble Choir.
Later she moved to Amityville, New York where she joined the New Hope Institutional Baptist Church where the late Dr. John A Jackson was the pastor. She served as the praise and worship leader for many years and in many different areas of ministry. It was at New Hope that the Lord began to work in her life like never before. Her desire to preach the gospel grew deeper. Pastor Jackson passed away in 2011 before she was able to preach her initial sermon. After the passing of Dr. Jackson in 2011, the Lord moved her and her family in a different direction.
At the end of 2012, Faith Deliverance Christian Center Inc. was birthed under the leadership and pastoral oversight of Overseer, Dr. Jermaine Henderson. There he recognized Minister Kim's gift and pushed her into her destiny. On July 14th, 2013 she preached her initial sermon "Get There". Elder Kim surely loves the Lord and is a founding member of Faith Deliverance Christian Center Inc.
Minister Steven Jackson
Steven Jackson has possessed a recognizable calling on his life from the time he was a toddler. For most of his life, he focused more on music and scholastics, playing the saxaphone, singing, and always staying near the top of his class. Steven preached his first sermon during a series put together by his spiritual father, Elder Jeff Roberson, called "Stir Up The Gift". A few years later, in February of 2012, Steven was licensed by his home church Faith Baptist Cathedral under his then pastor Rev. Joe Brown. He led praise and worship; directed both the adult and younth mass choirs.
Recently, The Lord led him to Faith Deliverance Christian Center (FDCC) in November of 2013 under the pastorial leadership of Overseer, Dr. Jermaine Henderson. He was placed again as the praise and worship leader. Minister Steven was called to deliver a sermon in his message, "I'm Better Broken" at our Thursday Night Touch(TNT) service and in February 2014 he was again licensed as a minister under FDCC. He was appointed as the Youth Minister at FDCC in April of 2014.
